- City based highly sophisticated securities dealer that utilises their unique technology to create a range of highly flexible services for their clients now requires a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly supportive compliance team in a great working environment. Key responsibilities will be:
Assist with setting up the transaction monitoring systems rules
Monitor and investigate transactions
Maintain detailed records of all investigations and findings
Provide rationale for decisioning alerts
Review and manage alerts within agreed timelines, policies and procedures for AML / financial crime / sanctions
File SARs reports
Assist with KYC / CDD / EDD onboarding and PEPs and sanctions monitoring
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience:
Transaction monitoring experience including AML / financial crime
Desirable to have exposure to CDD / EDD / KYC
Regulatory knowledge including some of the following; FCA rules, Money laundering regulations, Proceeds of Crime Act, Terrorism Actand JMLSG guidelines
AML qualifications are desirable (e.g. ACAMS , ICA , CISI )
In return you will receive a salary of up to £40k + 10% non-contributory pension scheme, study support, healthcare, share schemes, bonus
