- Fast growing payments FinTech is looking for a Business Continuity Manager in a newly created role reporting to the Group Head of Risk managing the oversight of business continuity, developing processes, and ensuring that the Group’s Business Continuity Plan is robust and operating effectively.
As this is a new role it is a fantastic opportunity to make it your own and develop and improve the processes:
Own the business continuity plan’s (BCP) processes and practices to ensure it remains current and aligns with industry standards / best practices
Providing advice/guidance on business continuity matters
Identifying potential risk scenarios that the Group may be exposed to, perform impact assessments, and develop response and recovery plans
Identification of crisis and disaster scenarios, formalisation of a crisis management team and the development of crisis communication internally and externally
Provide training to staff on business continuity and disaster recovery
Testing of the BCP to ensure that the operation of critical functions, processes, systems, transactions and interdependencies are working effectively
Development of MI and reporting
Development of applicable policies and procedures and ongoing maintenance of the Group critical systems list
To apply for this role you will need relevant experience in the business continuity management space, ideally from a financial services firm and sound knowledge of Business Continuity Management practices/standards and IT processes.
