Great opportunity to join a high growth FinTech operating in the payments space, based in central London as an AML Manager managing the Partner Due Diligence (PDD) team and improving processes, reporting to the MLRO.  

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a global environment and join a rapidly growing FinTech company making a real impact on the lives of people in developed and emerging markets:

  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders and work with the MLRO and the Head of Compliance to improve, scale and further develop the KYC / PDD framework
  • Assist senior management in defining group KYC/PDD standards
  • Dealing with escalations from the First line and providing advice on actions
  • Manage the Partner Due Diligence process, experience, expectations and communications
  • Coordinate the onboarding process, including the collection of client information required to complete the Partner Due Diligence file and seeing it through to final decision
  • Provide input to PDD/KYC training materials and providing training to First line functions
  • Tracking and implementing KYC/PDD related regulatory changes
  • Promoting culture of compliance within the organisation
 
To apply for this role you will need in depth financial crime / AML / KYC / due diligence experience from the FinTech, start up, challenger bank, or payments industries and should have exposure to PSD2, the 4th AML Directive and possibly Wire Transfer Regulations 2 ( WTR2 ). You will also need good exposure to payments products and experience dealing with complex or high risk corporate structures. You will have people management experience, expert knowledge of JMLSG, and experience of controls for KYC and onboarding due diligence processes. French, Spanish, or Mandarin language skills are desirable but not essential.
