Description
Do you have compliance and financial crime experience, and are you seeking a fully remote role? Twenty84 is helping a highly successful and ethical crypto and payments platform find a full-time DMLRO, and the role comes with a salary of up to £65k p/a plus benefits including unlimited holiday.

 

As a compliance and financial crime professional, you will provide an expert advisory and monitoring service to ensure compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and codes of conduct across the jurisdictions our client is operating within. You will have responsibility for deterring and reporting attempted money laundering, terrorist financing and other financial crimes.

 

In your first few weeks in this Deputy MLRO role, you can expect to:



  • Monitor all aspects of the business to identify actual or potential weaknesses of internal controls and advise on remedial action that may be taken by line management


  • Undertake work to assess the firm's regulatory exposure and make recommendations to enable it to ensure compliance


  • Liaise on behalf of the firm with regulators, auditors, other group companies and external organisations


  • Provide financial crime education, awareness and training to the business


  • Over see the KYC onboarding and transaction monitoring teams
