If you have experience with the Commodities or Metals markets and are seeking a new compliance job in London, Twenty84 has an excellent opportunity for you. We are looking to for a full-time Senior Commodities Compliance Advisory Analyst for an inclusive Global bank that provides a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients. This Compliance role comes with a salary of £80,000-90,000 and a wide range of compelling benefits including bonus, non-contributory pension, private healthcare, and flexible working (3 days from home).
The Advisory Compliance Officer will have responsibility for Compliance activities relating to the FICC markets businesses, specifically Metals and Commodities trading and is therefore expected to be a product specialist.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities you can expect to take on as Compliance Advisory Senior Analyst include:
  • Provide real-time compliance advice to the sales and trading teams, building and maintaining relationships with the business
  • Building an understanding of the business lines, including booking models, products, transaction types
  • Assessing new business proposals versus pertinent laws and regulatory requirements
  • Advising the business and other internal stakeholders regarding the interpretation and implementation of new regulatory developments
  • Review escalations of potential market abuse from internal trade surveillance partners
  • Create and deliver training to the business and other functions, covering topics such as market abuse and trading venue rules
To apply for this Compliance Advisory Officer role, you will need 4-5+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in the industry. You will also require the following:
  • Knowledgeable of regulations and industry best practices
  • Solid understanding of commodities / metals markets, products and business practices
  • Knowledge of major industry regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, and MAR
  • Prior experience in a compliance / regulatory advisory role
