Our client is a multi-award-winning consultancy firm which offers a range of services and products to financial services firms, helping clients through the twists and turns of the ever-changing regulatory landscape. The group consists of four separate entities: a regulatory consultancy, a Principal firm with appointed representatives, a specialist insurance brokerage and a compliance technology platform.
They have an extensive client base covering banking, investments, payment services and credit which provides a fast paced and rewarding working environment for the right individual to grow and develop.
This opportunity requires an experienced individual to provide expertise and support to our clients in identifying, assessing, and effectively managing their Prudential risks and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Keeping up to date with prudential regulatory requirements applicable to the firms client base and ensure timely implementation of changes including updates to policies and procedures
Assisting clients with RegData reporting obligations on a timely basis
Reviewing client data and identify potential issues
Assisting clients with ICARA preparation including detailed application of risk management and stress testing
Providing high quality advice on prudential reporting matters
Assisting the various teams with financial projection reviews for FCA authorisations, variations of permission and change in control applications
Working closely with the Head of Prudential Reporting in respect of Group Consolidation under MIFIDPRU for clients including structuring and issue identification
Working with the Head of Prudential Reporting in respect of Prudential Due Diligence for clients engaged in acquisitions of Financial Services companies
Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by Head of Prudential Reporting
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of prudential reporting in MiFID/non-MiFID firms
Knowledge of the FCA Handbook, GENPRU, MIFIDPRU, IFPRU, IPRU-INV
Previous experience preparing ICAAPs
Excellent attention to detail
Accounting knowledge
