Head of Risk

Twenty84 is helping a FX payments and MiFID investments firm based in London find a full-time Head of Risk to join their experienced and inclusive team. The role offers a favourable salary of £100-130k+ plus benefits which include a lucrative LTIP (long-term incentive program), company pension, private healthcare, bonuses, private on-site gym, and personal trainer.

The Head of Risk will own, develop, improve, and advise on the risk framework and risk appetite across various types of risks including prudential risk, capital, credit risk, financial risk, operational risk, and the role offers scope to shape and develop the risk department.

In your first months as Head of Risk, here are some tasks you can expect to work on:

• 
  Manage risk tools, techniques, and reports to support the business, senior management, and regulatory reporting


• 
  Lead the business’ ICARA and IFPRU projects, building and implementing these frameworks, policies, and processes


• 
  Be a senior risk advisor to the business on commercial matters


• 
  Oversee the firm's credit risk manager and credit risk exposure and develop, maintain, and continuously improve the risk models


• 
  Conduct risk assessments to define and analyse possible risks

We are looking for candidates with a numerical background and education, you will also require the following to apply:

• 
  Proven experience as a Senior Risk Manager with broad risk exposure including credit risk, financial risk, regulatory risk


• 
  Experience with ICARA / ICAAP is essential


• 
  Prudential risk exposure as you will be working on IFPRU


• 
  Knowledge of traded products such as FX, FX options is highly desirable
