Start-up Fintech in the Payments space is looking for a part-time CFO for an initial 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC):
Reporting to the Founders:
Define and architect the finance function
Co-ordinate all aspects of finance (accounting payment processes, reporting, treasury), forecasting, planning, management information, business intelligence and Finance IT infrastructure
Managing relationships with accountancy practice and legal firms, preparation of accounts and the co-ordination of the annual audit process
Help to shape business strategies, assess financial and operational information, challenge current business processes, highlight and recommend areas for change and improvement
Requirements:
ACA / CIMA / ACCA fully qualified or equivalent
Prior experience as a Finance Director / CFO for a payments company (essential) and ideally exposure to FinTech / start-ups defining and architecting finance functions
Deep understanding of application of UK and international accounting standards (IFRS) and tax
