- Twenty84 is helping our wealth management client recruit a collaborative and experienced T&C Manager to join their inclusive and welcoming team in London. This full-time T&C management role is for a 3-6 month contract and offers a favourable daily rate of £350-£500 and the chance to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.
As a flexible Training & Competence Manager, you will provide appropriate training and supervision of IFAs and advisers following FCA rules and company Training and Competency procedures to ensure that all sales made and advice provided meets legal, regulatory and quality requirements and consistently demonstrate that suitable customer outcomes have been achieved.
Some of your responsibilities in this T&C Manager role will include:
Undertaking client meeting assessments
Working with advisers and their managers to provide input and support concerning the delivery of suitable customer outcomes, file quality and ongoing training and competency requirements
Coaching and developing advisers to meet regulatory and internal requirements
Supporting collation and analysis of key performance indicators and translation of this into a risk assessment
Responsible for the certification (and assessing the suitability, fitness and propriety) of relevant individuals as required under the SMCR regime
To succeed in this T&C role, you will need experience working in an IFA T&C, compliance or training environment, preferably in a supervisory role. You will also require the ability to help and train advisers with the initial acquisition of knowledge and development of relevant skills. Additional requirements include:
Good working knowledge of FCA handbook rules on COBS, SMCR and Training & Competence, and a broad understanding of the wider financial services industry, products and services
Ability to coach advisers so that their knowledge and skills can be applied in various situations
Up to date knowledge of training and competency requirements and compliance practices as they apply to the adviser’s role
Ability to evaluate and assess adviser KPIs against set objective criteria, identify training requirements and write appropriate adviser development plans
QCF Level 4 qualification and QCF Level 6 or equivalent is desirable
